Question:
Hi,
I'd like to report a conflict between the new Eti Camcorder v2 and
SmartMovie.
(http://www.lonelycatgames.com/index...pter=smartmovie)
Both of these wonderful programs use extension .avi which causes this
coflict. When I'm trying to open a video in Eti's Player it opens
Smartmovie which cannot play Eti's films and crashes.
So, there is no way to watch eti videos if there's SmartMovie installed
on phone. I think this should be fixed A.S.A.P.
I've also informed LonelyCatGames about this. It would be just perfect
to be able to watch eti films with SmartMovie player since it has
fullscreen and everything. I just wonder why there's no fullscreen
function in your player since video quality would now allow it...
Thanks,

This problem is caused by the disordered Symbian files. Basically, symbian adopts "finally installing the program", it can hold the default playing right of the certain file.
Now, we are testing a in-line player in "my video", this player can solve this conflict problem. But before this, here are some steps for you to refer:
-First, delete the eti camcorder II and other AVI player, such as: SmartMovie, from your mobile phone;
-Second, reinstall your AVI player, then install the eti camcorder II. You must follow this order to install;
-Third, in eti camcorder, please record and play a video. Thus, AVI has the relation with your eti camcorder;
-Fourth, don't use FileMan or other file manager to open AVI file, because they are not as intelligent as they can distinguish which player they should use to play AVI file;
- Fifth, if you want to see the film, please use the "file --> open" function which is offered by SmartMovie.
